4.5⭐️I adore this book!! I love Chloe immediately she felt so relatable with all of her overthinking and quirkiness. And then Warren just was this lovable golden retriever, hidden under a fine layer of grouchiness which is my absolute favorite. And then on top of all of that, they both were children who grew up in the system, and then, as adults had custody of their little siblings. Watching them grow closer as they discovered their new normal as both roommates and sorta of CoParents was just so sweet

I love this book. It was an easy read and I got through it in a day. I do wish it was longer and maybe had some more development and explored Luke more, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Chloe and Warren are definitely cute together (their meet-cute made me crack up laughing), but I wanted more depth of conversations/interactions between the two of them before "I love you" lol. Loved the Deaf representation with both Chloe's adoptive dad and Luke.

The discussions around foster care and sibling guardianship were my favorite. The resolution with Chloe's mom isn't always what happens, but it was really sweet to see.

"DOVE" might be one of the best nicknames I've read ever!

CW: 2 open-door scenes, mentions of parental neglect, fetal alcohol syndrome

This is such a captivating read, and I was enthralled immediately. You’re rooting for everyone involved, and just hoping they get their happy ending.
