Good story, just a bit disjointed. I thought this was the last book in the series, so I had a hard time with the slow pace and was confused by the choice to have only the 4 Greeks narrate. Now I know better - it ended on a cliffhanger, and I hate waiting! The next book comes out 'Fall 2013' and will be called 'House of Hades'. No mention whether this will be the conclusion, or if he's going for 5 again.

it was good i liked the direction we are going but i left the universe a couple of times and that was no fun. some of the characters just didn’t seem like themselves! namely percy and nico… idk but this might have been the first book in this series where you can really feel the ghost writers presence(s).

"We're staying together," he promised. "You're not getting away from me. Never again."

The last time I read this book was the year it came out. I was thirteen and in the eighth grade. The only thing I remembered about it this time around as I’m seeking to finally (FINALLY) finish the Heroes of Olympus series was the ending. The ENDING. It wasn’t as bad this time around because I’m able to just hop into the next book right away but god do I remember the pure AGONY of having to wait for the next book. Somewhere along the line while I was waiting for it, I just never got around to picking it up. So here I am: 21 years old and finally picking up where i left off, and I’m so glad I am.
