⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan is another exciting installment in the Heroes of Olympus series, bringing together Greek and Roman demigods on a high-stakes quest. I really enjoyed how the story balanced action, humor, and heart, especially as the characters started working more closely as a team. Seeing Annabeth step into a leadership role and face her own personal trial tied to Athena was one of the best parts of the book—it added a lot of depth and gave her a well-deserved spotlight.
The pacing was strong overall, with plenty of battles, banter, and mythological twists that kept me hooked. The multiple POVs also added layers to the story, though at times it felt like a lot to juggle. Still, the character dynamics and growth made it worth it. And of course, that cliffhanger ending was both thrilling and heartbreaking—it definitely left me eager for the next book.
A solid, adventurous read that blends mythology with modern storytelling in Riordan’s signature style.
