Mate this series slaps. I loved getting to see all these characters get together and learn to work as a team. The narration is done in such an engaging way that I barely realised we were missing perspectives until it was near the end of the book. That ending?!!! So happy I’m reading this way after publication so I didn’t have to wait to start the next one haha.
I did not expect a cliffhanger ending, I mean by this point I got used with the cliffhanger endings
but this one just hit way too hard,
I was dumbfounded by the end and desperately wanted to read the next one but also equally scared to read the next one.

Let’s be honest I read this for the Percabeth reunion ONLY. And I’ll only read the remaining two to finish the series and fill the gap between the original series and the senior series… Sorry to everyone who loves these, but I’m just not the target audience anymore.
Chaos, chaos, chaos, in a good way, mind you.
The prophecy of the seven from the end of the previous book comes into play, we get a flying ship (Festus) and 7 demigods both Roman and Greek, the giants are on the rise and they keep beating them eversince books 1 and 2 but they just don’t seem to end! And we see more of Annabeth which is always appreciated, we see a different side of the characters and the storyline speeds up from here

✨️September 20th, 2025 re-read, and I felt chills reading that ending. My love for all these characters blooms page by page. Now, I'm fully ready for "The House of Hades."✨️
The last 100 pages of this book kept me going and going. What a story! I keep loving Leo's "ways", he's really funny and entertaining. And Percy Jackson, the guy "didn't feel the love", he is amazing. I'm really looking forward to knowing what's going to happen to our heroes in the next installment.
