This book was everything and more. I didn’t want it to end! I love Chloe and Warren, the way they communicate and the issues they talked about, their love. The writing was amazing and I loved the story. I’m definitely going to be rereading this!

This was very cute! I don’t know enough about the foster care system to know how accurate this storyline is, with the pairing system for foster families. But, I enjoyed the story and I enjoyed the characters. I liked Luke the most, he was definitely my favorite character. I liked that there was no late-story breakup, I hate when authors add that in just for the drama.

Overall this is a quick, feel-good story. My only critiques are preference-related, not literary. I enjoyed this more than “Out in a Limb” because I felt like the MMC in this one had actual flaws which made him feel more real. So overall I would recommend this, especially if you’re looking for a fast, warm-fuzzy type of book with a little bit of steam.
