Definitely a young adult read. The characters weren’t really relatable to me in my 30s and I felt awkward listening to her lose her virginity. Definitely a character who has mental health needs. Just couldn’t get that into her.

I like that this book had a lot of healing involved in it. I’ll be honest, I was expecting a twist but not the one we got. It’s a cute, simple read.

4.5 | I just love the Avalon Bay series!! The characters, the crossovers, the romance, the drama. It’s all so good! I absolutely love the relationship that Tate and Cassie have, passionate and fun. I was not expecting the secret to drop so late in the book, but I love how well it all wrapped up.
