Another complex entry to the Sigma Force series. Lots of genetics and action, quite the combination.

James Rollins is one of my favorite authors! Bloodline is among his best books ... Hard to put down and when finished you want more.

REVIEW: 2.25 stars. About as realistic as an A-Team episode. With a really smart dog.

Succeeds as escapist fare. Some moderately graphic violence & deaths. If you like special forces type action with quasi-historical & light sci-fi elements, this is a book for you.

In the afterword the author tells the true-life elements he researched for the book.

Oh, dear. Even the dog couldn't save this book. I used to LOVE James Rollins books, but they have been getting more simplistic, clichéd, and improbable until I just can't stomach any more of them. Way too much pseudo patriotism used as filler.

Fell asleep too many times listening to this on my iPod.. Guess I listened to the whole book by now, but probably missed a few bits here and there.

There's a blurb on the inside cover from Lee Child: No one does stories like this better than James Rollins. How true that is.

Another great ride from Rollins with two new characters that I want to read tons more about, Tucker and Kane. During the last book I felt that he would wrap the series soon...after this one I hope it keeps going. Great plot, action, character interaction and a cameo from an old favorite this one had me wanting to immediately read the next one.

Just another fun easy read that kept me entertained for a few days while reading on my lunch hour.

I won this is a Goodreads Giveaway. I entered the contest because Mat loves this author. He devoured the book. He read it over a few days and with his work schedule that's incredible. I asked him to rate this and he said "Five stars". He's now bought previous books in this series so that he can catch up.
