The perfect lighthearted rom-com in 1 book. While everyone knows how these stories end, Lauren Asher keeps it fresh and modern by putting Zahra in a position of power that she would have had regardless of Rowan’s involvement. Lauren also adequately mentions a lack of diversity among amusement parks for people with disabilities. All in all, this may be a new favourite comfort read.

I would say it would be one of my favorites however I feel like
they shouldn’t have been together. I was mad that Zahra took him back after the whole hospital scene( which really pissed me off cause he treated her like a burden in which I was like wtf is wrong with you she’s laying in a hospital bed where she almost died , and bestie is all like oh if she died in my bathroom that would suck/ be a lot of paper work. Bro really made me mad there like fr) miss girl put so much trust in him like he had her heart and soul wrapped around his fingers and he squished her heart like a grape. My trust issues are far more extreme I would have left him to get hit by a car and not care by that point.

🌶🌶🌶
This book was a light read, funny, grumpy x sunshine trope, a little enemies to lovers, and happy ending. It had me squealing by the end of it, because the development of the characters were such a huge plot point in the story.
The reasoning behind me giving the fine print only 3,75 stars, is because I felt the writing was a little all over the place, and didn’t exactly fulfill my expectations for a 4 star read. The main love interest was also a major red flag at times, but he picked up in the end and came out as not to bad after all. I did enjoy the relationships with family and friends in the end, and would definitely pick up this book to scour for future book ideas, as it had some key points worth noticing.

It was so good that i couldnt put it down for 6 hours straight, that doesn't just happen with me so Lauren Asher you did your job very nicely.

So anyways
I really didn't like Rowan in the beginning, like i actually hated him but the he started to be a nice guy so I stopped hating him ig.

I liked Zahra, I love her, and I also really really wanna read Cals book like i actually really liked him.

Yeah and also terms and conditions ofc I will read that on vacation so no worries.

Omg when Zahra got sick Rowan was crying and everything istg loved him so much, but also hated him after the hospital cause he fucking left.

Also when Rowan went to eat with Zahras parents and he found out why they could never go on vacation, because he was just a ruthless asshole. Loved that scene.

Also loved the relationship between Rowan and Ani.

But yea I liked the book
quite a bit of diversity as well so always love that

I’m so in awe with Rowan and Zahra…. I love it.

The writing style was really nice and easy plus fast to read, with a great plot throughout.
Also the characters were amazing… except Declan Lancelot Kane, he was an a-hole.
