I really enjoyed this book, it’s different to what I’ve read before but still feels comforting and cozy. It makes you reflect on your own life and feelings but holds your hand throughout. The characters are loveable and you find yourself rooting for all of them. A really pleasant and enjoyable read

This may have actually been too cozy for me? Possibly I wasn't in the mood for this, but, instead of finding this ordinary-slice-of-life book charming, I found it boring at times. I'm glad that the main character shows growth over the course of the book, but honestly found her wallowing malaise somewhat annoying. As in I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteobokki, the central character's listlessness is sympathetic, and even relatable, but grating to read about for a prolonged period of time. I think that what this book is lacking compared with other similar cozy stories that I have read recently is a quirky or whimsical element that gives it an element of charm.
