I’m very much looking forward to my kids reading this and figuring (hopefully) some stuff out!

I enjoyed this but I thought it was kind of repetitive with the story. I did however like the story of Joe Rantz. He had such a crappy home-life growing up after his mother passed away and I was just shocked with the way his stepmother treated him.
I liked how there was that "who's who" in the front (I know someone that read the adult version and that is not in there). The diagram in the back were interesting.
I think student that enjoyed Unbroken will like this.

Short and sweet with so much information about rowing and the team and Joe in particular. I listened because I also saw the movie and had heard it was a good audio book and I agree it was well done. I love historical based in true story sports read & movies so this rated high for me.
