As a feminist I really enjoyed aspects of this book. He talked about the sacred feminine a lot which was truly fascinating. There were a bunch of twists and turns in this book and some of them I thought was a little sloppy. And some characters has a change of heart too quickly that it was hard to believe them. When reading this book it is good to be reminded that it is speculative fiction.
