Although this has a similar plot structure as its predecessor, Angels and Demons, it was a really engaging read. I liked the quick chapters and brisk pace, and couldn't put the book down until I had finished it.

I know it is formulaic, but, boy, do I enjoy the formula. It would be nice to see Langdon involved with someone his own age, but I doubt that's ever going to happen. Good escapist fare with a little history and pseudo-history thrown in. Fun!

I read the second book of the series first 😊.

It was about the Grail. Robert Langdon and Sophie are trying to decipher the meaning of the last words left by Sophie’s grandfather.

I liked the story around the Grail and will be reading the other works in the series. I also got a few movie recommendations from this book. It was lengthy, but a good read.
