Mir gefallen einfach die zwei Sichtweisen nicht, einerseits sind sie mir zu ähnlich, dann springen sie zu schnell zwischen unterschiedlichen Szenen umher, dass ich mit keiner wirklich warm werden konnte. Eigentlich finde ich die ägyptischen Götter sehr interessant aber hier hat mir etwas gefehlt, obwohl ich sonst auch Rick Riordans Bücher sehr liebe.

Englisch ist my 3rd language and I just can't stand Sadie's voice and her accent. I'll pick up the German print version tomorrow, because I want to keep reading, just not with this narrator.

I don't know how to justify loving a children's book series when I am 21 years old and almost a full adult, but whether it's nostalgia or the fact I never really grew up, I really love re-reading the first book in this series. I never read the rest of it because in middle school I thought I was too cool for this series (or something). But now, I fully acknowledge that I'm not to cool for anything, let alone a book series about Egyptian gods. I definitely will be reading the rest of the series, hopefully as fast as possible. Rick Riordan is a beautiful author and I very much regret nothing.

Another great series by Riordan. I thoroughly enjoyed this first in the series. Riordan has a gift of bringing mythos to life.
