Not an awful lot to this (would hesitate to even call it a book, it's so short). But it accomplished all it set out to and the rules are memorable. Great for browsing through and easy to adapt to your lifestyle.
Cute and fluffy - not as informational as his others
I feel like giving this book to everyone! It has easy rules to follow and is not a diet. It's basically a cliff notes version of his In Defense Of Food but worth picking up.
It may be my fault that I didn’t like this, because I haven’t yet read Pollan’s other books. But this just seemed like a pointless book to me.
If you don't have time to read all of Michael Pollan's books, or want a condensed reminder of all the principles he teaches, this is it. Absolutely love it.
Sure it's a rehash and a rehash of relatively intuitive information at that but at $5, it's a nice little pocket sized motivator to strive to be a bit better when it comes to making food choices.
