The book sure does turn up the heat, and the Beast comes out for some play time. Ruby is just as strong as ever and truly comes into the queen she is meant to be. Favorite line by Julian "Hell's heir, you may be, but no one court's Death unless you wish to submit." Just can't get enough of these book. Sitting on the edge of my seat for the next one.

I cried is a understatement because not only because when I thought bandit died in this series but the fact that laran died and I felt attached to not only him but as I call it the ruby the queen of hell squad aka the horsemen and bandit and moira I felt like I was in the story and somewhat felt the pain of the character
But what I really love about the book is ending of the last book, when bandit,throws vegetables at moira to get moira to like his pups
But I love the banta and love and slurping of the entire series 100% recommend and you will not be disappointed. Maybe I’m a bit biased, but this book is now one of my favourites.

Why did the men behave like that in the book and then just get away with it?? It doesn’t even make sense?? Don’t even want to start on how rapey Julian was?? And the fact the others just accepted it? Nah wtf
