Not as good as the last few books, but hey, nobody's perfect.

I think the issue here is that Rowling had to make sure she set up everything she needed for the grand finale in Book 7, and that threw the flow off for this book as a stand alone work.

So I will reserve final judgment until after I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
