Demasiados personajes, se me hizo bastante difícil de leer ya que te cuenta la historia como de 10 personajes distintos.

Found the characters flat initially (possibly a byproduct of the brevity of their sections), not terribly compelling to spend time with. But when the bureaucracy starts and the existential questions start getting asked it really kicked into high gear for me and i read a lot of the middle third with a dumb little smile on my face. Don’t know that all of the threads worked for me but it was a pleasure to sort through what I did and did not buy. Were the characters flat on purpose, the way they would be in a simulation? Or is just lackluster writing? I lean toward the latter but as the book went on I think it did construct arguments addressing what I had perceived as flaws, nudges it a bit too far at the end tho in what feels like a cheat/cop out. Made me laugh out loud a few times but I do think Stephen Colbert would be better than that.

An interesting premise, expertly navigated by the author, unusual and unique plot which plays out well
