A book club pick :)

Unexpected and intriguing!

This book is a blend of speculative fiction, mystery, thriller, sci-fi; of tragedy, comedy, satire, philosophy, science, metaphysics, the nature of reality... I found it ambitious, riveting and unputdownable. Novels with many voices are not easy to pull off. Here we have an orchestra, a seamless whole. I cared about all the characters and their dramas, their happy or tragic endings.

I am happy I managed to avoid spoilers, this is a famous book, after all. I went in blind, knowing only that “something weird had happened to an airplane”. There was reading intoxication in putting all the pieces together at my own pace.

I need to breathe after finishing…
