Nero, book 1 in this series, wasn't perfect but it was a fun read. This is a step up from that. I really enjoyed it. The author has clearly found their stride when it comes to these characters and this series.

You meet King in book 1 and you like him. In book 2 you love him. King is not as ruthless as Nero but if you read Nero's book you don't expect King to be as ruthless. He is the behind the scenes guy and it works.

It is a marriage of convenience with a HEA so just sit and enjoy the ride that King takes you on.

some parts of this were GREAT. Love him being unhinged and funny. Also over protective and doing things to take care of her and maker her happy. Loved her calling him an idiot and trying to run and fight. But sometimes they were kind of annoying. How are they my faves AND my least faves so far? Not sure.

Exhibitionism 👀

Why are the ladies so weepy?
