So freaking good! It dragged for a bit in the beginning, I was so impatient but when it finally picked up, it was so so good!

Spoilers below.

First of all, fina-freaking-ly Celaena! It took so long for her to snap and get her head straight. Secondly, I feel so bad about Dorian. I suspected what Sorscha is, and kudos to her bravery - but so freaking sad for Dorian. I felt so sad about Celaena choosing Chaol over him, not he had to witness another girl taken from her. I can’t wait for Aelin to get back to Adarlan, and see what happened to Dorian, and maybe Aedion. Dang I love this book. I’m hoping the next book is going to be so much better with more action.

This story just keeps getting so much better! I can't wait for the next book.

Definitely my favourite of the series so far. The book really benefited from leaving the confines of Rifthold, allowing us to learn more about the surrounding kingdoms. I also particularly enjoyed the new POV character, it added a super engaging new dimension to the series.
