Most of my thoughts reflect the ones I had of the previous books of the series. I don’t like Dragonwatch quite as much as the original quintet, but I love the imagination, characters, and new preserves/concepts introduced. Probably the biggest setback for me was the overabundant dialogue.
I’m just saying...just when you think things can’t get any worse plot-wise, they do.
Dragonwatch: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wrath of the Dragon King: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Master of the Phantom Isle: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
Champion of the Titan Games: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mull does it again!
I fell in love with the series as a middle schooler, and loved the worldbuilding, characters, and depth the novels have. This book is no exception: a masterclass in worldbuilding and character development, this book was enthralling on every level. I absolutely cannot wait to see how he finishes the series!

We are huge fans of this series at our house and I especially love the audiobooks - the narrator does a fabulous job! Can't wait for the final book!
