Definitely more risqué and cliche than I normally read, but an overall feel good, culturally inclusive contemporary romance.

There were so many cringey moments but it was a light and funny read.

I fell in love with this book so cute full of culture, sensual writing the longing, emotional turmoil. I did have trouble with the whole prom thing but I kind of can see post read the depth behind the anger. V cute loved the ending and the pining of love

Childhood friends who haven’t seen each other in 10 years hitch a fake engagement plan to keep their respective families from bothering them about their current relationship statuses. I could’ve done without some of the romance sections and had more character development, but it was a good break from some of the more serious reads recently.

It has tropes I love but didn't do nothing for me.

Listened to the audiobook and the narrator was delightful.
Very fun read/listen if you're looking for something light.
