She slayed. The beginning was relatable and funny then in the second part it depicts truly her mental illness which was quite hard to get through but very eye-opening.

Beautiful book, surprisingly funny with a blunt, honest speaker who was very endearing if at times difficult to read. I related to this book in ways I didn’t expect, and I’m very glad I am reading it in my mid 20s- teen me would have made this my whole tumblr personality and not really understood it fully. Feeling like a failure after pinning your entire self worth to academic achievement is so relatable and the whole worry of child rearing throughout is again a very real and terrifying theme. The ending was far more hopeful than I expected and I’m very glad- even though we know the author’a own fate.

If I hadn't been stuck on a plane for a couple hours I probably would not have finished it. The writing is good and I don't tend to have too big of an issue with unlikeable main characters, I'm actually starting to really like them and find them really interesting to read about normally, but this time it was a little tiring and a lot of times I had to cringe at some things.
Overall just not really for me, I guess.
