i actually really enjoyed this and feel like there were so many important themes, many of which are still relatable and relevant today - though there was a lot of racism and fatphobia throughout the novel.

The book is really well written. However, I did not enjoy it because I found it extremely depressive. It is a good book to understand depression as well as the feelings of an individual in this situation.
