Amei este livro, que junta uma atividade que eu amo, o crochê, com o ativismo político antirracista. Amei também a forma como personagens tão diferentes, quase antagônicas, se organizam em prol do bem comum, na luta contra supremacistas e a favor da comunidade. Amei!!

The longer I listened to this book, the more I enjoyed it. The fact that it was set in Australia was an automatic point in its favour, but I love the way it tackled racism, particularly Australian racism. Claire's character was really interesting in particular, but the author's choice to explore so many different perspectives, especially some who usually wouldn't get narration exposure was fascinating to listen to. It wasn't my favourite genre, the romance sub-plot wasn't my favourite, but for a book that wasn't pitched to appeal to me, I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Tuesday Evenings with the Copeton Craft Resistance by Kate Solly is a delightful, heartwarming book that will make you want to start crocheting (no knitters please!)
