I like the story, but the pacing of the romance at the beginning and throughout the story was cheese-tastic.
Quite engaging story with a few very interesting ideas.
I listened to the audiobook, so I didn't have the problem many readers had with the book - being distracted by grammatical errors in the story - and got a sufficiently growly narration instead.
I am looking forward to reading more stories set in this world the author has created, starting with [b:Wray|20718586|Wray (Tornians, #2)|M.K. Eidem|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1391508426l/20718586._SY75_.jpg|40041945] next (although it feels like a step backwards since it's Wray and Kim's story that we already know has a happy ending since we saw it happen in this book).

Interesting story despite the terrible grammar and spelling errors. I enjoyed the relationship between Grim and the daughters but I found the insta-love a bit too much. Would've loved to see more relationship development between Grim and Lisa. Not bad for a first book but author seriously needed an editor.
I liked this book very much. I would have given it five stars if not for the fact that it needed an editor. Badly. There were so many grammatical mistakes! Thankfully they didn't distract me enough to take me out of the story most of the time, but they were excessive. My other problem was that the last 20% or so dragged on a bit, in my opinion. But I very much enjoyed this story and will definitely continue reading the series! (Hopefully the author invested in a good editor ;))
This was a pretty good start to the series. I like the characters and the reaction from all the males towards women. It was so funny :).
The only thing I didn't really care for was how fast she was okay with everything. Like you will be mine and so will your kids. She said okay. I will take you to another work filled with men that will try to steal you from me. She said okay.
I wanted her to have a little more back bone.
I loved all the side characters they were sweet and cute.

I still love this book and idk why. It's not well written, the dialogue is stunted and there are so many things about the Tornian world that are not thought through and don't make sense. It is not a great book... And yet it is. It's pure candy and I appreciate it as much the second time as I did the first.

A few annoying errors, but not too bad. Also annoying, Lisa and Grim seemed to have the same problem like three times in a row. On the plus side, Lisa was a great mom and a strong heroine. Grim really tried. The poor guy fumbled the ball a few times, but he got it together eventually.
