I've been very vocal about the fact I like this series. They deal with psychological abuse and a toxic relationship. I've also said how much the third one was as an improvement from the first two.
This one, was incredible.
The journey Hardin made in this book broke my heart in two pieces. It's amazing to see this broken man become one I respect and care for. The troubles from our past aren't an excuse for the things we do in the present. It was an incredible thing for me to read the moment Hardin turned his life around.
Tessa realized she's not the secondary character to her own book. And I rooted for her to stay strong in her resolutions. I wasn't disappointed. Even tho her methods weren't always ideal she stood for herself and put her life and happiness in front of other people's problems. For once, she cried for herself and her problems, not for everyone's.
This book is very different from the others, I dare saying is the best she's ever written. And I enjoyed very much reading it. Long ago are those fanfiction days, this was a well written end for a hurricane story.
4.5 stars for me.

Ik kan met zekerheid zeggen dat dit toch wel de slechtste serie is die ik ooit heb gelezen. Maar waarom lees je dan alle 2576 pagina's vraag je je misschien af? Nou, omdat het ook op een rare manier verslavend is om te lezen over de meest toxic relatie ooit. En het is nog leuker om het vervolgens met je boekenvriendinnen te bespreken (aka bashen). Ben in ieder geval blij dat het klaar is en dan het einde veel goed wist te maken. En kan niet wachten om After we colleded in de bioscoop te zien hehe.
Ristiriitaset fiilikset... Toisaalta oon älyttömän iloinen siitä miten tämä sarja loppui, mutta toisaalta olisin toivonut sen loppuvan erillä tavalla. Ehkä.

Love this series with the 3rd film being released i had to read the last book again to finish the series off cliffhangers are really not my favourite things. Harden and tessa there story I was in tears during most of this sobbing my heart out heathcliff and Kathy got nothing on these two. "Whatever our souls are made of hers and mine are the same"
