this book was a rollercoaster. kinda mad about the time jump, kinda didn't like how i had to do math in my head to know what age they were at. glad that hardin got himself a therapist tho.

This was the best of the series...the main characters had grown a lot by the end of the series and I found myself rooting for them and really liking them together. Actually being on the male leads side more than the female leads which was funny. I will say the author really pissed me off when she defended the relationship and said it isn’t abusive because it isn’t physical, because that simply isn’t true.

I won’t be reading the next one. I finally feel satisfied with how this ended and don’t want to read anymore of this series.

I just can’t get enough of Hessa! I mean book #3 was almost 800 pages and this one was about 500 and I still wanted more at the end. They both change so much in this book. There were some turns in the story that I definitely did not expect. With that came a lot of growth and healing for all the characters.

This series literally destroyed me. I had to read all 4 in 7 days because It was all I thought about like it was my own life lmao. First thought when I woke up was about this stressful relationship, but I loved every minute of it. The final book was my least favorite by far but the parts I loved about it I really loved. Fuh, I’m exhausted.

I reread this series for the first time since 2014 (?) or whenever it was written as a 1d fanfic on Wattpad, and I must say I'm still conflicted about this series as ever. I enjoyed it at times but however, there were moments where I was just so ughh??? Y'know?

I found that the relationship between Tessa and Hardin was so unhealthy at times that it was hard to read and just overall painfully repetitive, but other than that it was addicting and intriguing. The relationships in this series whether it was love, friendship, or family, were all very enjoyable, well developed and significant in this series. It had some intense plot twists as well which really motivated me to finish this series as quick as possible.

Overall, it was really nice to see how the relationship between Tessa and Hardin developed and improved in the end :)

At least it’s finally over. Listen, people, don’t read this series. The only thing worse than the improbability of this uber-toxic relationship getting magically just “fixed” via time jumps is the writing, and the only thing worse than Todd’s writing is the writing in the excerpts of Hardin’s novel
