I listened to it on audible, there are still 4 narrators, which I think is excellent.
But the truth is that I didn't like it as much as the previous one, it is interesting but it didn't catch me. It's a good casual read.

This is a perfect popcorn-worthy, binge-read book. Your favorite 80’s girl gang solves another murder while also having ALOT of heart. I need this series to become a TV show. This book touches on many very real and important topics, bringing light to more conversations that need to be had. Even still, it's such a fun romp. I love every one of these characters, and love to see their personal journey from book one.

"Desperate Deadly Widows" is a gripping anthology that brings together the talents of Kimberly Belle, Layne Fargo, Cate Holahan, and Vanessa Lillie. Each story dives into the complexities of love, betrayal, and revenge, all through the lens of women who have lost their husbands under mysterious circumstances.
The writing is sharp and immersive, drawing you into each widow’s emotional turmoil and desperate actions. Each author brings a unique voice and perspective, creating a diverse tapestry of narratives that explore the darker sides of grief and survival. The twists are unpredictable, keeping you on the edge of your seat as secrets unfold and motivations are revealed.
I particularly appreciated how the stories intertwine themes of empowerment and vengeance, showcasing the lengths to which these women will go to reclaim their lives. The pacing is well-crafted, with tension building steadily until the explosive conclusions.
Overall, "Desperate Deadly Widows" is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers. It’s a compelling collection that not only entertains but also challenges the reader to consider the complexities of morality in desperate situations.

So happy to revisit the world of big shoulder pads, even bigger hair, and endless champagne of the Widows.
All of the narrators were GREAT and really brought the characters to life - my only compliant is that I wish the audiobook had been produced more like a play and each character had been voiced only by their own narrator - so like during the Justine parts, the Justine narrator wasn’t then doing their own version of voices for Krystle, Camille, and Meredith. All of the characters’ voices were so distinctive it felt weird to hear them done differently when it wasn’t their chapter. And maybe get one dude in there to do all of the male voices (?) because then there were multiple versions of those bouncing around in my head.
That said, this was a super entertaining listen, and my fingers are crossed for more Widow books from these four talented authors!
