I was expecting more... I think it could have been 200 pages shorter. I did like a few events in the end- resolving feelings and creating happy endings.

Loved the first 2 the most, this one has ALOT of time and story hopping. The best way for me to keep track was imagine blunt scenery/time changes like how the Star Wars movies do it and I dont remember feeling that way with the other 2. Some parts felt really rushed towards the end but otherwise a decent ending to the series.
I preferred this book to the first, but Thunderhead was my favorite. There's a lot to like in this finale, but it tries to do a ton of different things and not all of them work.

I very much enjoyed the first two books of this series. They were incredible. This book, while still good, didn't live up to what the previous two entries had started.
And while I was left a little disappointed, this was still a good book. Ultimately I think I was just disappointed with the ending. The was only one thing that I enjoyed about the ending Everything else, while not anything that was rage inducing, was just unsatisfying. Especially with what happened to

The fact that the nanites are now killing people randomly and that the previous Scythe's, which are no longer needed, are now turned into a people that bring peace at the end rather than fear. Neat little twist.Spoiler
Goddard. He was such a good villain and by the end you wanted him to have some kind of take down. And while he did get thwarted, it was soooo unsatisfying! Come on!Overall it was good. But I wanted it to be so much more.
