3.5/5 me pareció maravilloso como los dos anteriores? No.
El final me resultó muy decepcionante pero la trilogía en si es bastante buena

This is very difficult.
Objectively this is a great dystopian novel and series. It is well written, interesting, has a unique concept, includes great quotes, and generally opens incredibly important questions about power, racism, artificial intelligence, gender fluidity and much more.
Unfortunately this wasn’t really for me though… There is no romance whatsoever and while I was interested and intrigued throughout (at the end I literally cried ABOUT AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE), I simply didn’t care about most of the characters for the most part… I would therefore recommend, but not if you have my book taste.

A sweeping finale that shows the world and cast at a scale the first two books only hinted at. Overall, this is a solid finish but it does suffer from some YA pitfalls - and there's both an undeserved happy ending and an ending that was not painful enough for some of our antagonists.

originally rated it 4 stars but after some thought, what the hell
First, LOVE Greyson. poor guy
disappointed by the lack of depth of the characters, as well as by the discontinuity of their behavior throughout the plot, and the corny dialogues.
Jeri's character?? really ????? I don't even know what was the author trying to do, bc if it was to give some representation to gender-fluid people, it was VERY clumsy. Too bad because I liked this character, just the fact that 50% of the dialogues they take part in are about their gender brother...
let's just say the end saved the series to me. often wondered how the author was going to conclude all this mess
otherwise, the themes explored were really appealing and interesting to me, and I loved the originality of the world building. just think the author could've written something even better if he knew how to properly write characters

Alas the Arc is complete and there will be no other. A perfect finish to what now has become one of my favorite book series. There were times when it was hard for me to put the book down, so engrossed in the story was I, i did not realize almost at the end of the book that the more I read, the closer I got to the end of the book and that realization was very discomforting. Nonetheless, the whole Arc is a masterpiece.
I REALLY love this series and all of the philosophical questions it poses. And while I think this book is the weakest in the series it’s still amazing. It had a lot of heavy lifting to do and loose ends to tie up and it did that incredibly well.
I just am so impressed at how hopeful this book makes me for the future despite everything else that goes on.
This series feels so important for now as we watch our own system of checks and balances dissolve before our eyes.
And despite absolutely inhumane or just ignorant decisions made by characters especially in leadership the thunderhead sees the good in people too.
I also really liked the introduction of Jeri. They were sweet!
