I was going to give up on this series, but it really picked up at the end and now I have to find out what happens in the next one lol
Another great Demonica book! I am really loving this series.
I was very curious in the last book what Shade's curse really was, and in this one we find out. It really was breaking my heart for Shade and Runa because it seemed like they were in a no win situation at all.
After being forced to bond, he needs her for sex or he will literally die (being an Seminus Incubus demon he needs it to survive). But at the same time, if he allows himself to love her, he will fade away and be worse off than death because he will be floating around earth, not able to communicate with anyone, but not really dead either. Phew, what a predicament.
I kind of predicted the ending, but it was a good ending nonetheless. I think he should keep his werewolf side too because she needs him during her change so why not?
I also am interested in the Kynan and Gem story. I guess that'll just be a back story to the other books, but I just hope that they are able to be together in the end. I'm not sure what's going on with Kynan now, but hopefully he'll still be in the upcoming books.
So I look forward to the next one in the series. It'll be interesting to see how Wraith can bond with someone while he's post s'genesis. It seems like he won't care about that. In the previous books it's kind of seemed like they can't really bond after. Larissa hasn't flat out said so, but she did say that they become sex hungry and don't care about anything else. So it'll be interesting to see where that takes Wraith. That was definitely a surprise in the end to see that he sped up the process for that.
We'll see what happens next!

I actually liked this book much more than the first one.
There is still a ton that needed to be explained as we learn more about other supernatural creatures, but I think it was handled okay. I really enjoyed reading about this couple.
The... BDSM?? part??? Was it even that??? I don't have a problem with bondage, pain for pleasure, or dominance play in books, but this doesn't feel like it fits in anywhere. Whatever it should be considered, was very weird to me and just did not make sense. Perhaps I personally don't get it and that is what happened.... but if you love someone and you know that forcing them to do something emotionally hurts them, why would you do it?

Meh, did not like this one. I never cared for Spade in the first book and I continued not caring for him in this one too. Runa was just as bad. I hated how Ione portrayed her as this spineless pathetic girl that Spade totally trashed and then she came back a year later with a whole new personality and he was just blown away. It sickened me.
The weird shit with the S n M soul cleansing thing didn't make sense to me either, it was just bizarre.
A very weak installment that just about turned me off from the books. However, I still really like the brothers interactions and I really want to get to Wraith's story cause he's my favorite.

I was really excited to read this book and now I know why! I expected this book to be good, but it was better! I did not want to putt is book down! I love the character changes, but it always changes character when something big happens, which makes me have to keep reading! The book was great, kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! I absolutely loved all the characters in this book, except for the bad guys, of course. The end was beast, and I am looking forward to the next book! This book was so amazing, it left me speechless, with only one thing left to say.... All hospitals, including all the T.V shows, movies, or anything involving hospitals has NOTHING on Underworld General!!
