This was forbidden roman and some words I had to read over since at times it makes u feel like “should I be reading this?” Lol but it was so good, had mysteries about the characters and who they were but also how they developed into themselves later with the help of each other!

I tried to force myself to finish it but it was all a bit too abusive and weird for me…
Also I can kinda get the Jake and Noah attraction but Kaleb? Absolutely fucking not. Not for me.

There didn’t seem to be any feelings between the characters except possessiveness and jealousy - and not in the good way. This girl has gone through so much trauma and I’m sorry, but the male characters take advantage of her.

This is a hard book to review. This book has been all the rage on BookTok right now, so I wanted to give it a try. It definitely pushed my boundaries of comfortability. Although I did thoroughly enjoy the writing of the spicy scenes, it remained hard to get past the familial relations in this book. I did not feel much romance or true love at all—more possessiveness, jealousy, and abuse—but as a book should, it kept me entertained. Three stars because it kept my attention and my eyes were glued to the page. However, character development fell extremely flat and storylines felt quite rushed. Not to mention the familial relations… weird.
