Some great tension scenes but the main "love" story wasn't believable to me

Definitely well written... but wow this was a weird one. Tiernan's rich, uncaring parents commit suicide together and leave Tiernan alone before her eighteenth birthday. She's shipped off to her dad's step-brother's isolated house in the Colorado mountains. Then she sleeps with him and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, before deciding to stay with Kaleb. I just... wow. First off, Kaleb was the worst one, what a mean person! But all of them were pretty mean to her as she was going through the trauma of her parents' deaths and finally confronting the fact that they hadn't cared about her at all. Truly a bizarre romance novel.

I was not sure what to expect from this book but in all honestly I loved it. It was spicy and loving and suspenseful. Tierenan was everything and her struggle was so relatable in different ways and while the ending isn’t what I expected it I loved it all the same. I know this book is on the taboo level but I still think it was good.

Tiernan has got to give herself credit for not dying with her parents immediately after moving into that caveman household.
