I can't see a book in this series getting less than 5 stars. Holy fucking SHIT. They literally keep getting better and better! Just when I thought no one could out do Cade...in struts Jasper fucking Gervais 🥵. We get a mix of hot hockey player AND cowboy? best of both worlds

Hockey romance meets cowboy romance meets found family all in one!!!!!

Normally in a series sometimes the more books there are, there’s bound to be a couple not as great ones but not with this series so far. Elsie Silver has your standards high after the first book but meets them again and again in the second and third. Something tells me she’ll do the same for books 4 and 5 too.

Loved these characters and their individual growth as well as their growth together. The strength and independence they provide each other is awe worthy. Highly, highly recommend!

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (lowkey wanted more drama but that’s my problem lol)

3.5 / 5

This wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t my favorite from the series so far. I felt horrible for both MCs - they both deserved so much more out of life. This story is likely the most realistic in terms of life handing us a lot of shit until we’re drowning and find our way back to the surface and back to each other again. It just felt lacking I dunno. Loving and longing over someone for TWO decades without reciprocated feelings would really do a number on me so this felt off and forced bc “oh no!! You’re finally engaged, I know it’s been two decades but actually lol I’m in love with you. Please say sike and be with me instead???” *aggressive eye roll*

BUT Harvey was such a damn sweetheart in this - same ole Eaton humor but his moments with Jasper in this book were so precious and broke my heart. Jasper deserves the Eaton love so much, it’s so wholesome.
