I had high hopes for this one because I lurved the friends to lovers so it got extra points in my book for that. Unfortunately I cannot stand a possessive man and that seems to be Elsie silver’s MO and this was potentially the worst one yet? So then it lost points and eventually stacked up against the others. But this was less of a boring 2.5 and more of a high highs and low lows 2.5 if that makes sense

What its about: Jasper and Sloane have been best friends since childhood. They have kept their crushes a secret from the other. Everything changes when Jasper saves Sloane from a loveless marriage after she discovers her fiance cheated on her. Now they have nothing stopping them from exploring their long standing crush.

My thoughts: 5/5 stars. Jasper has my heart. He is just the sweetest, broodiest man with Sloane's best interest at heart. I loved these two together because they know so much about each other and really are each others safe spaces. Once they give in to their desires, they both grew so much. Sloane started loving herself and feeling confident. Jasper stopped hiding and was finally smiling more. I know everyone loves Theo and Cade but Jasper honestly is gonna be hard to top for me.

Spice rating🌶🌶🌶🌶. My goodness Jasper is sexy as hell. He loves control- need i say more. When it comes to the bedroom, Jasper knows what he is doing and does not hide. Sloane is a lucky lucky woman.
