As a kpop stan I was really excited to read this book and it did not disappoint.
The story was a bit boring or highly unrealistic at times (which is why I gave it 4,5 stars instead of 5), but I still really enjoyed it.
The story follows a cute romance which is kind of a forbidden romance and boy I am a sucker for this trope. There were so many cute moments where I was just awwing at my book.
The story itself was also fun to read, the book is a pretty quick fun read that I would recommend to every kpop stan.

Reads a lot like fanfiction, only Jackson didn't throw the party in this one, lol

I just wasn't ever really ever rooting for the MC except for some small art when she seemed to have clarity. Boys clouding her judgement too much and he's not even worth it. Everyone just made me mad

First of all, I just want to congratulate Jessica for a job well done in creating this novel. I really enjoy it and I'm 100% sure that her non-reader fans will enjoy it as well.

Although Jessica is my ultimate bias in Girls Generation, rest assured that this review is not biased.

First, I love the cover design. Very Jessica Jung, if I must say. It's also aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, but the physical cover is a bit flimsy and easy to fold. I regret not buying the hardcover. Haha

Second, the paper quality of the book is low quality. It feels like a mass paperback and the cut of the edges are not even.

Third, the number of characters. It's a bit overkill for me. 5-7 characters are introduced in the first 50 pages. A bit confusing if they are just fillers or have a critical role in the story.

Fourth, the pacing. Ugh. It's terrible. Don't get me started. Read it for yourself.

Lastly, I'm glad that Jessica included sensitive issues surrounding the K-Pop industry. Body shaming, discrimination, double standards, and racism. We may think that Jessica either experienced it or witness it first hand.

Over all, the story is pretty interesting. Especially if want to have a sneak peak on what happens to idols off cam.

Just gonna share my fave part where Rachel and Jason had their first duet. It feels like High School Musical reference wherein, Troy and Gabriella sang 'Start of Something New'.
