Okay, so they really meant it when they said the ending was f*cked up. I totally did not see it coming at all and I'm still thinking about it because it was so wtf??? and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, yes, it was totally f*cked up, as promised. However, on the other, as someone who enjoys the occasional sci-fi read, I'm not opposed to out-there concepts but I feel so conflicted with how the ending just existed with no real explanation behind anything (I'm trying to be vague so I don't give anything away lol). I guess if I don't think too hard about it, I did enjoy reading this book, it was fast paced and it had some interesting twists but it also was not what I was expecting at all.

Louise kisses a married man at the bar, and the next morning at work discovers he is her new boss. She then befriends his wife, learning that the wife knows more than she should. This is a pretty good thriller that very effectively delivered an unexpected twist at the end.

Read it a while ago and am still disturbed by the ending if I think of this book. One of my first thrillers and definitely memorable but not amazingly impressed, it was okay.

This book is crazy! The characters are flawed beyond belief and their interactions are insane. Not sure how I feel about the ending. On one hand it was unique and unpredictable. On the other…WTF?! A wild ride no matter what.
