Another wonderfully written historical fiction. Set in France in WWII in the champagne grape region, author notes has super good information on the region and grapes, outlining a community that stood together to fight the war and win back France. I will never drink bubbly again without thinking of this book.

It was a good book but found it frustrating when I'm on a really exciting chapter, can't wait to find out what's next and instead I find a chapter about the back story. I don't want to go back and forth I want to find out what's about to happen. Soon frustrating. Overall though good book.
