4.5 Stars!
I... have a lot of feeling regarding this book. Most of which I can't share because of those pesky little spoilers. So I will have to content myself with the ones I can share.
First of all, I am very glad that we finally get Jesse's story. i mean yeah, we knew about him before but he wasn't the main focus. And, I turned out, we actually didn't know the whole thing. I like that his story was finlly addressed and I have to say, this Maria chick is a world-class psycho bitch. She takes self importance to a whole new level.
As ususal, I loved Susannah. All her bad decisions, the complaining, the recklessness and the kickassary. She's a brilliant character. She is, in no way, perfect, but she knows it and accepts it and, at the end of the day, she's still just a sixteen year old girl and you can't expect her to be too mature. She's doing very well.
The writing, I've noticed, is getting better. The change is very subtle and I only noticed because it flowed better. There were less of those hiccups that make me want to reach into the book and rearrange the sentences.
Overall, I think this is my favourite book of the series so far and I can't wait to start the next one.

More like 3.5 stars, bit much repetition (crying etc.).
Still a nice fluffy, fast read.
Recommended for fans of the series and it works better if you have read all other books before this.

Was pretty slow and didn't really have a middle or an end. I felt like it was just getting started and didn't really wrap anything up. It had a nice climax, sure, but it just didn't feel quite as complete as the other ones. Also, not enough Jesse. I enjoyed it and got through it really quickly, but just felt it was missing something. Two more to go.

This was the best ending out of all the books in the series so far! I was so happy with the ending and I can't wait to read the next book.
Finally the story of Jesse but now we have ourselves a mystery of Paul :D Oh well, need to keep reading....:P
I do feel like things have gotten a hit better with books 3 and 4.
