The mystery in this book was so much better than the first, had more potential to be a good book for sure. But the fact that the only trait packard has that is talked about is that he is gay got so overdone. Dragged on waaay too much and I was over it.

Great addition to the Ben Packard series. I wasn’t shocked by any of the twists except for the cliff hanger. That was a nice surprise. Excited to read the 3rd book!

Damn damn damn! This was such a brilliant small town procedural! And the end… 😯

Apparently I liked this book I read 15 days ago and yet can't remember ANYTHING about it to actually right a meaningful review. Take that for what it is... I'm still leaving my 4 star review.
