Great follow on from the first book. Was good to have a break from the Magnolia and BJs relationship whilst still building on characters from this world and good to get their perspectives. Enjoyed the footnotes, although this did feel a bit overused and hard work as the book progressed. Liked how we got Julian’s perspective and the side plot of the heists and gang activities. Really made me root for Christian and daisy. Enjoyed them as characters much more than I did magnolia and BJ.

okay still so obsessed with the series. I love Christian so much. and I need more on Julian. I don’t know how Jessa Hastings has me equally loving and hating all the characters but I can’t get enough of them and this series.
actually loved daisy and christian, but i heard the author didn’t finish their story and kind of paused because i don’t like reading unfinished stories. ultimately dropping bc i am finding out the author is pretty problematic and i can’t really support knowing the morals behind the work.

Wowsers that book was a doozy. I hated reading all the Christian POV of the Magnolia stuff because I was like dude stop being so mean to her like I get it. She’s awful but like bro chill and then Christian Daisy we’re kind of boring TBH.
