am I okay after finishing this book and the first one? absolutely not

4.5 (!!!) i’m feeling so overwhelmed right now.. daisy and christian are everything to me, i was rooting for them since the beginning! this book felt like a massive rollercoaster especially in the last few chapters. Julian, my boy, with all due respect, WHAT THE ACTUALLY F*CK WAS THAT??? my wish at the moment is to skip book 3 (about magnolia and bj again) and just read “daisy haites - the great undoing” because i really don’t know if i have the strength to continue with my life without knowing what happens with those two (but i also have FOMO so book 3 it is

Felt like a rehash of Magnolia and BJ, except a little worse? The flaws of the writing style were harder to ignore this time around. I also didn’t find the drama and mess as enjoyable as the first book.

ok i love you daisy haites

3.5. Daisy is a lot less interesting to me than Magnolia, but she grew on me. I felt this was longer than she needed to be and it didn’t seem like she really had any chemistry with Christian.
