To be brutally honest, I did not think i would give this book 5 stars. Like I love Daisy/Julian/Christian’s story so much more than Magnolia and BJ’s??? Did not see that coming

I don’t know how I am meant to move on from that ending

The universe, actually, is ablaze. The planets lose track of their orbits, the birds are poets now and all the songs written before this and all the ones that’ll come after this are about this moment; about how when we’re standing my ear rests right where his heart is.

The beautiful nothingness of this, the most intimate moment of my life to date, a life that, actually, has been dotted with much intimacy and I think nothing will ever beat him resting his chin on top of my head.

This book was good but omg it was messy! All of them are just big sluts who can’t keep it on their pants basically. Also if they would just talk to each other they would realise they loved each other - baffled tbh.

I liked the 3 person POV that was new to me.

Christian Hemmes grew on me near the end once he finallyyyyy admitted to loving Dasiy. That girl had major issues and needs more therapy because the first few batches didn’t seem to work clearly.

This is a good series, I think it’s better than the twisted series so far but no where near the scale of BOT.

Christian Hemmes & Daisy Haites you have blown me away.

The things these books make me feel are unexplainable. After BJ & Magnolia never did I expect to love Christian & Daisy as much as I did. They blew them out of the water. I loved Magnolia Parks but this book… this book will forever be engraved in my soul I fear. The drama, the tension, the misunderstanding god help me I was ready to throw hands at every turn and that’s exactly what I love so much about these books.

The laundromat scene might’ve had me at the edge of tears because what do you mean he took her there because she loves laundry after giving her the only normal day in her life because that was her biggest wish and then you slow dance to Home????

I can definitely confirm I am 100%, fully, completely, without a doubt a Daisy Haites girl. I’ll defend her rights and wrongs because I connected with her so deeply and absolutely adored her character. I felt like I went through everything with her.

Christian… don’t even get me started. Reading the Magnolia storyline from his pov was sickening but being in his mind those last chapters especially, I don’t think I’ve ever underlined a book more. BJ has nothing on him because the way this man thought about Daisy at every waking moment and spoke about her… it makes me sick just remembering. I actually can’t express what they did to me. The way he was sick himself over messing up GOD.

That last chapter tore me apart. What the hell do you mean 10 months? SICKENING. Remembering that last page makes me want to throw up because the way he pleaded with her but ultimately just gave her what he knew she wanted.

Julian you’re in my bad books currently because wtf.

I genuinely wish I could express how completely captivated I was by this book and how connected I felt to Christian & Daisy because they are everything to me. I will defend them forever. A little sad I have to go back to Magnolia and BJ now, because I’m by far much more invested in C&D, but we push through.

It was a disappointment after reading the first in the series. The book has excessive footnotes on every page and honestly, I stopped caring to click on them after the tenth one in two pages.

At its heart, it's the same story as the first book but with really badly written "we're bad guys doing crime... but sexily" scenes. I could believe a Magnolia Parks exists but a Daisy Haites? No.

The book aimlessly wandered until the end, where in the last 5% there's finally something happening! But it didn't inspire me to pick up the next book. And sadly, there was an epilogue for Magnolia at the end and that too killed any excitement to read the next one.
