I enjoyed this more than the previous story, Rocky Mountain Haven. I'm not sure if I was better prepared for Arend's wanna-be eroticism or if I was pulled in by the characters.

This is another in the series where I feel like many parts of it I really liked and then there some parts that were just “ugh”. I actually liked Matt & Hope as a couple, how they got together, and a few of their outings were fun. For me, the biggest let down was the proposal and since that came at the end it sorted of tainted the rest of how I was feeling about the book. It started strong and then fizzled.

Tatiana Sokolov continues to do a good job on the narration.

I really like the continuation of the characters from one book to the next.

This is my favourite so far. Matt had a horrible breakup from hopes sister. Hope has a huge crush on matt and when they both give in and go for it sparks fly. I found this book funniest out of series so. Loved it.

4.25 stars... really hot though not as climactic as i thought it would be with the situation with the sister and clay. looking forward to the rest of the brothers though.

This was a sweet book and I really enjoyed it. It starts off with a moping Matt Colemann because the of his skank bitch ex while celbrating Daniel's bachelor party there are so called dirty dancers there (not strippers!) Matt sees on of dancers and his dick starts to twitch again. Not knowing that it is Hope (his ex's sister) Hope is hard up and needs some cash so that is why she decided to dance that night. They meet and Matt finds out and there is a slightly akward moment.

5 months later....

A series of events leads them to one another not denying there mutual attraction they decide that they are gonna to start off as freinds. Hope has another guy sniffing around her and well obviously that doesn't go down to well with Matt. They finally do the deed after spending time with one another. Both Hope and Beth are such hard working, adorable and I just love them together as a couple. Hope is submissive in the bedroom which added a nice touch.

The skank bitch ex comes back and decides to make there life hell. Now this woman seriously has some issues! She would rather ruin everything then see two people who deserve to be happy. She then after so long denys are undying love to Matt? what a bitch!!!

There were some other hot seens in the book involving who else but the twins :-)

And I have some suspicions about Travis but I'm going to wait and see if they are true;-)

I liked it but the writing wasn’t great , the POV and layout were inconsistent and the ending was super sudden. The dialogue was way too stiff and the spice could’ve been miles better

Working for It

Vivian Arend Rocky Mountain House bk 03 Rocky Mountain Desire

Matt Coleman and Hope Meriden don't have it easy. Given who her sister is, she should be considered off-limits, but I like how they still move forward and let their attraction play out.

I sometimes forget that Hope is very much not an innocent angel, but I really love how she's quick to dispel that misconception. It's a bit hot and plenty fun. Ultimately, I love her and Matt together - possessiveness, protectiveness and all.

Helen continues to leave a less than stellar impression with her antics. I am left wondering if professional help should be mentioned as a consideration.

Unlike the first two books in the series, this one focuses mostly on Matt and Hope. There are Coleman family gatherings, so we still get time with them, but it's not quite the same.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is again Tatiana Sokolov. She continues to do well with all of the Colemans and their friends and family.

Story: 4.5 stars
Narration: 4 stars
