This was such a cute book!! The basic plot line was a little bit predictable but there were some interesting twists and turns throughout. Overall the characters were awesome and the story was adorable.

Two archenemies learn they have more in common in this sweet high school romance.
Ever have those toe curling moments when something just feels so good? A cup of hot cocoa on a winter's day or puppy kisses in the morning? Well, this book gave me some nice toe curling moments. It's just one of those quick reads which make you smile and say "ahhh." The characters are quirky and fun, while the romance is sweet and dreamy. Additionally, I enjoyed the complicated yet loving friendship between Lily and Isabel. I want to see more interesting friendships between young women in young adult.
Gushing aside, this book is not going to work for everyone. It contains several high school tropes. The villain - if you can even call her that - is one dimensional. And the setting is non-existent. Don't pick this book up expecting to read something profound.
tl;dr A quick, cute read about first love between enemies.

A cute contemporary to break up how many thrillers I have been reading lately. I listened to this on audiobook and although I wasn’t obsessed with finishing it or dying to know what happened, it was enjoyable to listen to while doing other things. From the opening chapters I could have predicted the entire plot of the novel, but I thought the premise was cute, the characters had growth, and the drama wasn’t over the top.
I will say though, this novel had me saying to myself multiple times that I do not miss being in high school

SInce I devour Abbi GLines books and enjoy most of Colleen Hoover;s books, this authorpopsup as a recommend author,
This author writes a clean story with no heavy subject matter. They make great audio books but doubt I would read them in the traditional sense.
Lily loves to write songs and rather do that instead of paying attention in chemistry class until her teacher takes her notebook away during class. She tries to take notes but song lyrics swirl through her head, so she writes a verse on the desk. Much to her surprise someone adds the next verse. When they run of desk room ( still dont get why this was cleaned off or added to by another student) they start leaving notes hidden under the desk.
This goes on most of the school year, even when Lily learns who it is, she keeps writing notes even when her best friend wants her to stop.

Very cute read! It was fun and sweet and very well written. Even if I saw the ending coming very early on, there were still enough twists to make it an enjoyable read. I'll definitely be looking for more from this author!
P.S. I Like You is about a girl named Lily, who writes a song lyric on her Chemistry desk when she is bored only to find out the next day that someone has carried on the lyrics, and written her a message. Lily and her pen pal start to write each other notes everyday, recommending music and telling each other secrets. Soon, Lily starts to have feelings towards her pen pal but is scared to find out who it is behind the letters.
So I have been in a bit of a reading slump recently, not a huge one because I've still been reading but I've just not been in the mood to read much. This book is something that I love to read in moods like this. I think it would suit anyone who loves an easy read or just loves contemporary in general.
I love the plot, it is so simple and yet somehow doesn't get boring at any point. Although it was slightly predictable and I kind of knew who the secret pen pal was from the beginning, this didn't dull my enjoyment. Although, it would have been nice to have been surprised.
This book features one of my favourite tropes, I can't say what it is for spoilers but it is just one of my favourites. If you have read this then you'll know what I mean. Hopefully.
Reading books over a day or two is always something that makes me feel accomplished, not only do I feel like I could read forever, but I know I have really enjoyed a book.
The characters in this book weren't overwhelmingly memorable but when I was actually reading the book I did enjoy them. The main character wasn't my favourite, but they never usually are when I read a story. I think that because I'm not particuarly musical I didn't connect to any of the characters and their love for music.
I know this review hasn't seemed exceptionally positive or anything, but to what may be your surprise, this has made its way on to my favourites shelf. It was a simple YA contemporary with cute characters and a cute romance with one of my favourite tropes, and I will 100% be checking out all of Kasie West's other works.

“[...] anonymity was freeing. I could say a lot when I didn’t have to sign my name at the end. And I didn’t.”
I am sitting here asking myself why it took me *this long* to finally read a book by Kasie West. This was absolutely adorable!
Highly predictable? Yes.
Full of clichés? Yes.
But, hey, sometimes a girl likes and needs predictable and cliché. Sometimes all you want is a light and fluffy contemporary read that will make you giggle and “ohhhh” and “awwww”. P.S. I Like You did exactly that for me. It just made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
“I found myself humming this morning on my way to class. Is it illegal to hum on a Monday? I blame you.”
I enjoyed the story very much. It had solid characters, they were witty and super relatable. Lily exchanges so many ideas, thoughts, feelings, recommends music and whatnot with this mystery pen pal of hers. It’s something she looks forward to every day and then, she starts falling for her pen pal and her anticipation for each reply grows, as well as the need to find out who he is.
“He was a guy. A guy who liked the same music as me and was bored in Chemistry and had a sense of humor. We were soul mates.”
I felt like I was watching an adorable teenage chick flick on TV - I kept thinking of You’ve Got Mail, but a teenage version. It also reminded me of passing notes in high school with the boy I liked. Ah, the memories, the anticipation of the reply and what it would say. *insert heart eyed emojis* I’m pretty sure most of us can relate. :)
I’m definitely going to add Kasie West to my list of must read authors! I need more fun contemporaries like this one!

Grāmata pavisam viegla, tā lika man izjust tik tiešām daudz emociju.
