Kasie West

After a month of reading some heavy lit, I needed something light and I knew Kasie West would not disappoint. Charming story, much like her others. This was not my favorite of her books, but that's like saying pumpkin chocolate cheesecake is my least favorite cheesecake I make--it's still delicious and there's things I love about it, but it's not my go-to.

Also, my friend Peggy needs to know that the cover does not match the book at all. :) I know that's important to her.

3.5/5

Very cute little contemporary novel, but not much else beyond that. This is the type of book you read whenever you don't want to have to think about anything, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you need a light-hearted book. The concept was cute with a boy and a girl passing notes between chemistry classes via paper wedged under their shared desk. And it was very predictable as to who the secret pen pal was. But Lily and "mystery boy" (no spoilers!) were adorable, but a little unrealistic, considering certain emotional states. Still fun though.

This is one of best books I have ever read. I'm kinda sad that I finished. I didn't want it to end.

I really liked this! Was it corny at times? Yes. Was it predictable? Yes. I knew in the first thirty pages the big giveaway. But I thought the romance and dynamic between the two main characters was great. The friendship and family dynamics were amazing. The main character was realistic and had a good sense of humor. She was unique and acted very maturely, but still acting like a teenager. I liked this book, would recommend.
funny lighthearted

I opted to listen to this book and i was happy with my choice. While going into the book I didn't set the bar up too high and didn't have my hopes high and i think that is probably the reason why i enjoyed this book more than i had thought. It was a nice book which you can listen to while doing other things. It was a fun book and now i want to read more fluffy romances.

This is my favourite Kasie West book. It was highly addicting and I read it in just a few days. I enjoyed the character development and the relationship that grew. Such a good book.

Really good. Read in one night. Hey, don't judge. I needed something to make me laugh. I hadn't in a while.
