I wasn't sure I'd like this or not since straight romance can be a little hit or miss for me but since I read this author's work before, I gave it a shot and I'm happy I did.
This was so cute and wholesome and the perfect summer read/beach read. It gives the best vacation kind of vibes too. The detail that was put into the setting was done so well. While this was really lighthearted and fluffy it still dealt heavily with grief with the MC and her working through the loss of her sister all the while having to be back to a place that brought up old memories. This was written really nicely.
Overall, if you want to read about a wholesome family playing assassin while at their vacation home for a family members wedding then I suggest this for you.

It took me 50 pages to get into it. I thought I wasn’t going to like it, but I ended up loving it at the end. Coming from a huge swiftie, I LOVED the Taylor Swift references. It was so sweet, refreshing book. It was truly a heartwarming book. I read it over a trip and it was a cute airport read honestly, but it would even better if you would read the book on the beach or a beach house!

A touching tribute to familial loss that mirrors the author’s grief. This theme was woven into the story in a way that felt integral. It explored a lot of hard feelings that were more digestible with different facets of love. There were a number of good, sweet moments to round it out.
