Quick and easy summer read. It has YA vibes with young adult characters - the spice is all fade to black. It’s sad, touching, and sweet at different points. I found it really enjoyable and once I got into it, it was a really quick read.

I think this book was a little too sweet for my taste but was overall an enjoyable light read. I liked the chemistry between the two leads and the writing made me feel like I was in Martha’s Vineyard! But I felt like all of the other dynamics weren’t as well developed and felt very surface level.

It's just one of those books that really get to you. The characters seem so alive and you just want them all to have a good time. One of my favorite books of 2024 so far!

A sweet, emotional, quick read. I had a hard time feeling invested in the point of conflict but it was fine. They didn’t even break that many rules.

I really enjoyed this book it’s very much the definition of a beach read. I probably would have given it 5 stars had I gotten to read it while lying on a towel at the beach. Also the plot is quite predictable to an extent and not exactly super unique but that’s okay because the vibes are fantastic and the overall book is very cute and nice to read. It has beach vibes with a wedding and a cute little fling/charming romance but with a little twist because they’re also all playing assassin!
