It’s like Gone Girl, The Teacher’s Pet, and Conviction combined. And if that seems like a lot - it was. It was definitely a read I didn’t want to put down, but it felt as if every possible thriller theme needed to be included. For a debut, it was intriguing and showed a lot of promise for what this author will bring in the future.

I think I’m still shaking a little after finishing this book. Talk about a sick and twisted ending that I didn’t see coming. I was nervous the whole last 80 pages of the book.
Overall the author did a great job and I feel like the ending was not predictable at all. I would highly recommend this read.

Bat shit crazy is all I have to say lol. Highly recommend if crime thrillers is your thing.

All the characters were unlikable and the author portrayed all men to be misogynistic monsters. Very annoying.

It was good. Kept me entertained. Kept me hooked. There were flaws in the build up. I love an unreliable narrator, but not one that straight up lies. You can’t just withhold information and call it a plot twist. I liked it, the writing for the most part was very good. There were a couple threads that I feel could’ve been plucked a bit more. The main character was interesting. It was a had to finish book for me, but not an “omg this book is amazing”.

This was okay.
It was a solid thriller but nothing amazing.
I felt the pacing was a little slow and found my mind wandering from time to time. There were times when we were waiting for other characters to find out certain bits of info that we as readers already knew which slowed down the pace.
